Hi, I’m V.P.

I spent my summer afternoons in the 1990s sifting through spiderwebs and clay in search of the divine black-and-yellow patterns of the Eastern box turtle.

I've since washed my feet.  No more herping, but my reverence for identifying and sharing proverbial lotuses in the muck lives on.  

Thus, BLOOMS is about showcasing the good stuff: music, film, books, reasoned thoughts on life.

I am: a lady girl ("LG"), raised not to spend too much time figuring out what "kind of" woman I am for fear I'd collapse into the internet's precious center.
